Алеш Петріч

Aleš Petrič is a Czech actor and puppeteer whose path to the stage began with an unassuming moment: while performing for a local cultural center, he was spotted by Petr Nosálek, then head of the Ostrava Puppet Theatre, who brought him into the ensemble in 2000. Since then, he jokingly says he is “still learning how to be a puppeteer.” He loves everyday little joys, good coffee, the smiles of passers-by and the silence of the mountains — even though he claims to be lazy, which doesn’t always go well with mountain hiking.
