Мирослав Ганус

Miroslav Hanuš is a Czech theater, film, and television actor, as well as an acclaimed director and voice actor. Born in 1963 in Prague, he originally studied internal trade at the University of Economics but left to work as a stagehand at the Vinohrady Theatre. He then successfully studied acting at DAMU in Prague, graduating in 1987. He had engagements at the Central Bohemian Theatre in Kladno and the Labyrint Theatre (now Švandovo Theatre) in Prague. Until 2019, he was a permanent member of the Divadlo v Dlouhé ensemble. Alongside acting, he is highly successful as a theater director and author of stage adaptations, working on many stages including Studio DVA. He has portrayed dozens of roles on camera, but audiences love him most in prominent TV series roles. He gained enormous popularity playing the grumpy Major Korejs in the crime series Případy 1. oddělení and Antonín Hložánek in the series Ulice.
