Вацлав Шварц

Václav Švarc is a Czech theater, television, and film actor. He was born in 1993 in Karviná but spent his childhood and youth primarily in Vsetín. After graduating from high school, he moved to Prague, where he successfully completed his studies in dramatic acting at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts (DAMU) in 2017. During his time in Prague, he performed on the main stage of the Švandovo Theatre and also acted with the independent theater company Spektákl. In his final year of studies, he began making guest appearances at the South Bohemian Theatre in České Budějovice. In the autumn of 2017, he secured his first permanent engagement there and quickly became a core member of the drama ensemble, appearing in productions such as Hangmen, Don Juan, and The Decameron. Alongside his theater work, he is also active on screen; television audiences may recognize him from popular series such as The First Republic, The Specialists, and How Not to Screw Up Your Life.
