Ondřej Adámek
Ondřej Adámek is an internationally acclaimed Czech composer and conductor. Born in 1979 in Prague, he studied composition at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (HAMU) and continued his training at the prestigious CNSMDP in Paris. For stage audiences, he composed the original score for the celebrated chamber production of Picasso at Prague's Ungelt Theatre, directed by Jiří Svoboda, where his music subtly heightened the psychological tension between the characters. The core of his work lies in music-theatre and contemporary classical music commissioned and performed across premier European festivals and opera houses, including acclaimed operas such as Seven Stones for the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence and Ines for Oper Köln.
