Miroslav Ondra

Miroslav Ondra is a Czech theater dramaturg, actor, director, and university teacher. He was born in 1982 in Prostějov, where he co-founded Divadlo Point in 2005 and remains active there today. He received his university degree in Theory and History of Dramatic Arts from Palacký University in Olomouc. During his studies, he co-founded the independent theater Tramtarie in Olomouc, which later moved to Brno under the name BURANTEATR, where he still collaborates as an actor and dramaturg. A major part of his theater career is tied to the Brno City Theatre, which he joined in 2017 as a resident dramaturg. As a creator, he also makes guest appearances at other venues, such as the Zlín City Theatre and the Bolek Polívka Theatre. He is also involved in writing original plays, some of which have been recorded for television. Besides his practical work, he is active in the management of the JAMU academy in Brno and expands his artistic scope as a musician in the band Létající rabín.
