Peter Malý
Peter Malý is a Slovak opera singer and sought-after tenor who has established a strong presence on leading Czech and Slovak theatre stages. He studied voice at the conservatory and the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) in Bratislava. He gained his first theatrical experience at the State Opera in Banská Bystrica and the Slovak National Theatre. A major breakthrough in his career came with first prize at the Antonín Dvořák International Vocal Competition in Karlovy Vary. Since 2016, he has been a permanent opera soloist at the South Bohemian Theatre in České Budějovice, where he performs core tenor roles. In addition to his home engagement, he regularly makes guest appearances at the National Theatre in Prague and the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in Ostrava. His vocal profile is perfectly suited for the classical opera repertoire, where he excels with a clear and resonant delivery. Beyond the theatre, he is also intensely involved in concert performances of sacred music.
