Hana Marvanová
Hana Marvanová is a Czech theatre director and playwright. She gained her early theatrical experience as a trainee at the Docela velké divadlo in Litvínov under the guidance of Jurij Galin. In 2017, she graduated in dramatic directing from the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts (JAMU) in Brno with a production of Gogol's The Gamblers (Hráči), which represented the academy at the international Setkání/Encounter festival. Known for her distinctive directorial style, she collaborates with several Czech theatres – she staged the comedy Testosterone (Testosteron) at the Most Municipal Theatre, with which she currently collaborates, directed The Importance of Being (with) Earnest (Jak je důležité býti (s) Filipem) for the Indigo Company Theatre Society, and has successfully created productions for the Tramtarie Theatre in Olomouc (God of Carnage / Bůh masakru, Horrors from the Marital Bedrooms / Horory z manželských ložnic).
