Hana Šimková

Hana Šimková is a Czech theatre actress and special education teacher specializing in typhlopedics (education for the visually impaired). She graduated in dramatic acting from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (DAMU). Her professional career began at the DISK Theatre, where she performed in productions such as Cat on the Rails, The Cold Child, At Hitler's in the Kitchen, The Beggar's Opera, and The Sister. In 2024, she joined the ensemble of the Radost Theatre in Brno. She currently appears in productions of Pippi Longstocking, The Jungle Book, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Hamlet on the Road, and Animal Farm. Alongside her acting career, she is dedicated to supporting and working with the blind.
