Slavo Solovic

Slavo Solovic is a Slovak composer, producer, director, and arranger, a prominent figure in contemporary stage and film music. As a producer, he has collaborated with leading Slovak and Czech musicians, including Richard Müller, the band Kryštof, Zdenka Predná, and Iva Frühlingová. He regularly composes for theatres such as the Slovak National Theatre, Astorka, Hadivadlo Brno, the National Theatre Brno, Divadlo Andreja Bagara in Nitra, Aréna, Bratislava’s GUnaGU, and Štúdio L+S. He has written music for films and TV series (Mesto tieňov, Ako som prežil, Kriminálka Anděl, Ticho, Pôvod sveta) and contributed to the music direction of Slovak versions of Disney and Pixar films. In collaboration with Viliam Klimáček, he created several operas, including Hippocampus (a finalist of the Genesis Opera Project in London) and Haydn Dines with Mozart.
