Hana Andronikova
Hana Andronikova (1967–2011) was a prominent Czech writer and screenwriter, known for powerful stories, sensitive psychological insight, and an exceptional ability to speak about pain and hope without sentimentality. She studied English and Czech at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague and began focusing fully on her literary career in 1999.
Readers primarily associate her with the novels The Sound of Sun Clocks and The Sky Has No Bottom, for which she received the prestigious Magnesia Litera Award in 2002 and 2011.
