Stas Zhyrkov

Stas Zhyrkov — Ukrainian theatre director, sound designer, lighting artist, scenographer, and artistic leader. In 2008, he graduated from the acting and directing program at the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, under Petro Ilchenko and Kateryna Pyvovarova. Since 2016, he has headed the youth policy and experimental theatre department at the National Union of Theatre Artists of Ukraine. In 2019, he became general and artistic director of the Kyiv Academic Drama and Comedy Theatre on the Left Bank of the Dnipro. In 2022, he stepped down and continued his work at the Small Theatre of Vilnius (Lithuania).
