Іржі Сухі з Табора
Jiří Suchý z Tábora is a Czech theater and television actor, as well as a screenwriter. He was born in Tábor and intentionally chose his artistic moniker to distinguish himself from his famous namesake. He studied at the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre at DAMU in Prague. During his studies, he made guest appearances at the Švandovo divadlo, and in 2008, he co-founded the original theater ensemble Cabaret Calembour. He secured his first permanent engagement at the Moravian Theatre in Olomouc (2010–2013). He then spent two seasons at the South Bohemian Theatre, and from 2016 to 2019, he was a member of the Drama ensemble of the National Theatre in Prague. He is currently a freelance artist, making guest appearances on prominent Czech stages. Besides acting, he has built a strong profile as a successful screenwriter. He has contributed to series such as Gympl s (r)učením omezeným, Kriminálka Anděl, Ohnivý kuře, Modrý kód, and Sestřičky. He has also appeared as an actor in several television series, including Slunečná, Eliška a Damián, and Zrádci.
