Яна Бржежкова

Jana Břežková is a Czech actress and one of the long-standing pillars of Prague’s Činoherní klub, where she has been performing since 1967. A graduate of DAMU, she appeared at the National Theatre during her studies and later joined the Antonín Dvořák Theatre in Příbram. Her acting is known for its naturalness, precision, and effortless charm, earning her fans across generations. In addition to acting, she is also involved in costume design, which has accompanied her throughout her career. On stage, she has portrayed dozens of distinctive characters in both classical and contemporary plays, ranging from drama to comedy. TV audiences know her mainly from the popular series Ordinace v růžové zahradě (The Surgery in the Rose Garden), where she impressed with her warmth and authenticity.
