Вероніка Фрейманова

Veronika Freimanová is a Czech stage and film actress and one of the most popular and recognizable faces of contemporary Czech theatre and cinema. After graduating from the Prague Conservatory, she joined the Činoherní klub, where she first shone in 1978 in the legendary comedy Tři v tom (“Three in One”). Today, she performs mainly at Divadlo Bez zábradlí, where she is one of the ensemble’s key members. Millions of television viewers know her as well — whether as the unforgettable teacher Hanka in the cult classic Sněženky a machři (“The Snowdrop Festival”), the mother in Snowboarďáci and Rafťáci, or as one of the leading characters in the acclaimed TV series Vyprávěj, which she considers one of her favourite projects.
