    Peter Gábor

    Peter Gábor is a theater director and actor. Born in 1963 in Nitra, Slovakia, into an artistic family, his mother was actress Adela Gáborová and his father jazz musician Dodo Šošoka. He graduated in education before studying theater directing at Prague's DAMU. He started out in Martin, Slovakia, and at the Kladno theater. He left a significant mark as artistic director at the Moravian Theatre Olomouc and spent years leading the drama ensemble at the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in Ostrava. He has collaborated with numerous prominent stages, including Prague City Theatres, National Theatre Brno, Divadlo Mír, Divadlo Ungelt, and the Summer Shakespeare Festival. Currently, he directs for Vršovice Theatre MANA, Divadlo v Řeznické, Stará aréna, and Silesian Theatre Opava. Although his primary focus is directing, he also acts. TV viewers may know him from episodic roles in popular series like Četnické humoresky, Mesto tieňov, and Vyprávěj.
