Martin Donutil

Martin Donutil is a Czech stage, film, and television actor. A graduate of the Prague Conservatory, he began his successful professional career at the Husa na provázku Theatre in Brno, where he became a permanent company member from the 2011/2012 season and shone in productions such as Ballad for a Bandit, Pictures from the Insects' Life, and the title role in Amadeus. In recent years, he has collaborated extensively with director Michal Dočekal, under whose guidance he excelled in the drama The Lehman Trilogy (Dynastie / Lehman Brothers) and in the lead role of a stage adaptation of Kafka's Amerika. Since the 2018/2019 season, he has been a permanent member of the Prague City Theatres acting company. Alongside his theatre work, he frequently appears on television and in film, most notably capturing audience attention in the lead role of the hit series The Gendarmes of Luhačovice (Četníci z Luhačovic).
